JOB ROLE:

He or she is responsible in always keeping the work area/kitchen clean and helps re-stock inventory/supplies in an orderly manner. Provide assistance in any area where needed.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help with different tasks, depending on what the Cook/Immediate Head need at the time
  • Wash, peel, cut and slice ingredients as assigned by the Cook/Immediate Head
  • Mopping, sweeping, cleaning of the kitchen/work area
  • Taking out the garbage and replacing garbage bags
  • Washing, drying and putting away all dishes, pots, pans, equipment, etc.
  • Unloading and carrying food supplies, inventory and deliveries.
  • Packing takeout orders for clients and customers
  • Follow personal hygiene and food safety and sanitation standards strictly
  • All other related tasks to have smooth service/shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as kitchen helper
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Highschool/vocational diploma
  • Flexible to work different shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Experience in a Korean restaurant/cuisine is a plus

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:

  • Directly reports to: Head Chef and/or Store Supervisor
  • Coordinates with: Department Head & Clients
