About the role

As a Maintenance Officer at Hyundai Laguna Inc.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. This full-time position is based in Binan City Laguna and will see you responsible for a wide range of maintenance and handyperson duties to support the overall objectives of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshooting and repairing any malfunctioning equipment or systems in a timely manner
  • Performing minor renovations, painting, carpentry, and other handyman tasks as required
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and costs
  • Ensuring a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborating with external contractors and vendors for specialised maintenance services

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role, ideally within the trades and services industry
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues quickly, and perform repairs efficiently
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve problems
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise and complete tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and contractors
