About the Role

We're looking for a highly talented Senior Full Stack Developer who wants to help architect, build, and launch a brand-new platform from scratch. You'll be working directly with our Founder/CEO, an experienced tech entrepreneur, in a true startup-style environment: fast iterations, autonomy, experimentation, and real ownership.

This role will suit someone who thrives on building 0 to 1 products, enjoys solving technical challenges, and wants to make a meaningful impact on the careers of Filipino remote workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable APIs and backend services
  • Develop and maintain database schemas and queries
  • Integrate with third-party APIs (payments, email, analytics, etc.)
  • Write clear, maintainable business logic and server-side code
  • Ensure reliability, error handling, and performance optimisation
  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Convert design wireframes into clean, reusable UI components
  • Integrate frontend features with backend APIs
  • Handle client-side state management, routing, and user flows
  • Ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Set up and manage cloud environments and deployments
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
  • Monitor application performance, uptime, and logging
  • Manage environment variables, secrets, and configuration
  • Ensure system security, backups, and basic infrastructure reliability

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, modern backend frameworks ), and frontend frameworks or similar)
  • Solid understanding of API design (REST or GraphQL), relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and general security best practices
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD workflows, Git, and basic DevOps tooling
  • Ability to design and implement scalable architectures, optimise performance, and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with founders and cross-functional teams
  • High level of ownership, initiative, and independence
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers is a plus
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a track record of shipping production applications
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field is beneficial but not essential
  • Startup or fast-paced product environment experience is an advantage
