Bilingual Japanese-English Translator

We are looking for a highly skilled Japanese Translator who can support our team with accurate and high-quality translations and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate documents, emails, and other materials from English to Japanese and Japanese to English.
  • Review and proofread translated content for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Collaborate with multi-vendor teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables.
  • Provide effort estimates and assess impacts of proposed solutions or tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing kanji).
  • At least JLPT N2 proficiency level.
  • Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, or night-shift).
