About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and leadership-driven Accounting Officer to oversee our team of visa processors while ensuring accurate financial tracking of all related transactions. This role blends financial management with operational supervision, requiring someone who can lead people, streamline processes, and safeguard compliance in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of visa processors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company and client requirements.
  • Monitor financial transactions related to visa applications (payments, reimbursements, refunds, and service fees).
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports specific to visa processing operations.
  • Establish internal controls to minimize errors, detect discrepancies, and prevent fraud.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and external stakeholders to align financial and visa processing workflows.
  • Provide leadership through coaching, feedback, and performance monitoring of the visa processing team.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable government regulations.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus but not required).
  • At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with visa processing, recruitment, or service-oriented industries is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
