About the role

TODA CORPORATION, Japanese construction company, has been awarded to the construction project of MCWD's Septage Treatment Plant in Cebu city Philippines, and we are seeking a Civil Engineers to join our construction site team.

We are looking for two engineers:

Engineer-A; An experienced civil engineer who has more than 10 years of experience in constructions sites

Engineer-B; A motivated young engineer with less experience.

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and growth within our diverse organization.

What you'll be doing

1.   Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews to ensure adherence to plans and schedules

2.   Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction progress to identify and resolve any issues or challenges

3.   Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

4.   Preparing detailed progress reports and maintaining accurate project documentation

5.   Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

6.   Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed

A person we're looking for

1.   Having a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

2.   Having PRC license in Civil engineering. In the case of Engineer-A, more than 10 years of having history of PRC license is required. In the case of Engineer B, a history of PRC license is not required, but it is necessary to have one.

3.   Having interest in the Japanese construction company.

4.   Having the ability to learn and adapt to Japanese style on-site methods under the supervision of Japanese engineers.

5.   Being able to act as a bridge between Japan and the Philippines to contribute to smooth communication.

6.   Being able to manage Philippine subcontractors to ensure high quality and prevent schedule delays.

7.   Being able to commute to the site every day from home.
