About the Role

We're seeking a Site Civil Engineer to oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, ensure quality and safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. This role is hands-on and requires strong coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring work follows plans, specifications, and the project schedule.
  • Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and safety walk-throughs; enforce safety protocols at all times.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and present progress reports, accomplishment reports, site diaries, and photo documentation.
  • Assist in material take-off, quantity estimates, and cost monitoring; validate deliveries against BOQ and plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and LGUs for permits, inspections, and clearances.
  • Monitor manpower productivity, equipment utilization, and work sequencing to meet milestones.
  • Support change orders/variation works documentation with measurements and justifications.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and recommend corrective actions for quality or safety issues.
  • Ensure as-built plans and turnover documentation are complete and accurate.

Qualifications (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PRC-licensed Civil Engineer
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in construction site management or as a Project Engineer
  • Proven ability to prepare and present progress/accomplishment reports for clients or management
  • High sense of integrity, accountability, and safety compliance
  • Willing to be assigned to remote or provincial project sites as required

Preferred (Not Required)

  • COSH/BOSH Safety certifications
  • Training or certification in Project Management

Skills & Tools

  • Solid understanding of Philippine building standards and site practices
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office/Google Workspace; working knowledge of MS Project/Primavera is a plus
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills (English & Filipino)
  • Ability to solve site issues under time constraints and adjust to project changes
