About the role

Gitamondoc-Gopaoco Construction Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer (Architectural) to join our dynamic team in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. As a full-time Civil Engineer (Architectural), you will play a pivotal role in the design and construction of our diverse range of projects, contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and finalising architectural designs, plans and drawings
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers and construction crews, to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conducting site inspections and providing technical guidance to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and safety standards
  • Analysing and interpreting technical data, such as soil reports and structural calculations, to inform design decisions
  • Monitoring project progress and quality, and addressing any issues that arise in a timely and effective manner
  • Continually seeking opportunities to improve processes and implement innovative solutions

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PRC license
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with a strong focus on architectural design and construction
  • Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and engineering documents
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical information
  • Strong project management and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software and other relevant design and drafting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and regulations
