Education and/or Certifications/ Licenses

  • Graduate of BS in Human Resources, Psychology, or any equivalent courses
  • Master's Degree related any Behavioral Science courses is an advantage

Years of Work Experience and/or Industry Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years with working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

General Job Role

  • The HR Officer role contributes to company performance by aligning HR strategy to business strategy.
  • Carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas based on labor laws, approved company policies and service level agreement:  talent acquisition; employee relations; talent management; compensation and benefits; performance management; employee development initiatives and training

Duties and Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Understands and applies organization development frameworks to senior team thinking, e.g. talent pipeline, succession planning, high performance culture, etc.

Culture & Change Management

  • Help shape the culture, trying to align external customer expectations with internal employee and organization behaviors.
  • Coaches leaders in how their actions reflect and drive culture and how to make culture and change real to employees.
  • Takes lead role in supporting local change, supporting and challenging managers to be effective/inspirational leaders

Stakeholder Management

  • Conducts regular meetings with assigned business units and provides tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
  • Actively participates in annual budget planning/labor forecasting process with business partners

Human Resource Operations

  • Performs talent acquisition for assigned client base.  Prescreen candidate applications and resumes for required skills, experience and knowledge to fit position requirements.  Endorses to hiring manager and ensures efficient turn-around activity
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Leads and/or support annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; salary increase and bonus, benefits enrollment; annual reports, etc.
