Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategies in the Philippines, ensuring alignment with global business objectives while addressing local market needs. This role oversees marketing implementation, media relations, new product introductions, pricing strategies, and budget control. The Marketing Manager also supports sales initiatives and training, maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, and upholds the company's vision, mission, and values.


Key Result Areas (KRAs):

1. Marketing Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement communication strategies.
  • Ensure business marketing needs are fully understood and addressed.
  • Translate global marketing strategies into localized strategies for the Philippines.
  • Influence global strategies to incorporate the requirements of the Philippine market.

2. Strategy Implementation & Media Relations

  • Identify and monitor target communities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) within target communities.
  • Develop and manage the annual community activity calendar.
  • Set marketing KPIs and monitor performance against plans.
  • Lead the marketing team to manage social media accounts and achieve objectives.
  • Plan, execute, and report on trade shows and events.
  • Coordinate media relations and implement cross-branding opportunities.
  • Manage CRM initiatives.
  • Prepare business cases for event approvals and negotiate with key stakeholders.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Oversee the development of market intelligence reports.
  • Collect and analyze marketing data to support decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit monthly marketing reports to Exodus Hong Kong and Casio Japan.

4. New Product Introduction & Pricing

  • Identify opportunities for "Philippines-exclusive" products and propose them to headquarters.
  • Lead pricing communication strategies and processes.
  • Manage new product introduction activities.

5. Budget Control

  • Manage and monitor the marketing budget within approved limits.

6. Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Prepare monthly new product briefs for the operations team.
  • Support the sales team with updated training materials.

7. Sales & E-Commerce Support

  • Support the e-commerce team through effective communication programs via social media and online platforms.
  • Provide sales teams with reporting and opportunity insights.
  • Oversee asset design and on-site investigations.
  • Lead Visual Merchandising Development (VMD) to maintain and improve merchandising at the point of sale (POS).
  • Manage and lead live streaming activities in conjunction with the online sales division.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent commercial qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand-building or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Excellent computer skills, with a high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Working Environment:

  • Position is based at the Manila office.
  • Approximately 20% local travel within the defined market area.
  • Regular communication with Exodus Hong Kong and Casio Japan on marketing-related projects.
  • Responsible for sourcing, managing, and evaluating agencies, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Ongoing internal collaboration with the Sales Manager Philippines and other Exodus team members.
