Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Assessment

  • Greet and prepare patients for examination by the physician.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments including taking vital signs, medical histories, and
  • noting any concerns or symptoms.
  • Assist in diagnostic tests and procedures such as blood draws, ECGs, and other routine
  • tests.

Coordination and Communication

  • Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and
  • preventive care.
  • Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare services as needed.
  • Maintain clear and open communication with the multidisciplinary team to ensure.
  • comprehensive patient care.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and status reports.
  • Manage patient flow and ensure efficient use of clinic time and resources.
  • Handle telephone inquiries from patients and provide appropriate guidance and support.
  • Ensure the OPD is stocked with necessary supplies and that all equipment is in good
  • working order.

Quality and Safety

  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols within the OPD.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.

Professional Development

  • Stay updated with the latest nursing practices, guidelines, and technologies.
  • Attend professional development courses and training sessions.
  • Mentor and support fellow nurses and medical secretaries.

Qualification:

  • BSN graduate , Registered Nurse
  • An IV Therapist
  • Attended Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Training and other seminars & training related to nursing practice.
  • With good oral & written communication skills.
  • Possesses MCI brand of Nurse SMART (Sincere, Motivated, Affectionate, Responsible & Task Oriented Nurse)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php22, Php26,000.00 per month
