The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales team in executing sales activities efficiently and effectively. This role ensures seamless coordination between sales, marketing, finance, and other departments while maintaining high levels of accuracy, organization, and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Coordination
-Support the sales team in achieving goals by managing and coordinating aspects of the sales process.
-Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on all opportunities.
-Prepare sales presentations and provide administrative support for sales meetings and conference calls.
-Assist in the preparation of sales materials and proposals.
Data & Process Management
-Maintain the sales database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for reliable reporting.
-Develop and maintain filing systems for managing sales records.
-Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance dashboards.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
-Conduct market and client research to provide insights and support sales strategies.
-Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
-Coordinate with marketing, proposals, and finance teams on sales-related tasks.
-Contribute to the development of sales strategies and playbooks.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
-Lead and mentor and support staff.
-Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
-Oversee on-boarding, coaching, and performance management.
Performance Monitoring & Management
-Analyze team and individual performance metrics.
-Implement strategies to improve efficiency, revenue, and service delivery.
Operational Strategy & Excellence
-Develop and implement sales and operational strategies to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
-Evaluate performance against goals and recommend continuous improvements.
Customer Service & Quality Assurance
-Address operational issues to ensure high-quality service.
-Gather customer feedback and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-3+ years in sales operations, sales support, or administrative roles (BPO experience is a plus).
-1–2 years of team coordination or leadership experience in sales, customer service, or call center environments.
-Proficient with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM.
-Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
-Experience with sales reporting tools and data dashboards.
-Sales Process Management – Skilled at supporting the full sales cycle from lead to close.
-Performance Analysis – Able to monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
-Customer Focus – Committed to high-quality service for both internal and external clients.
-Collaboration – Effective team player across multiple departments.
-Administrative Efficiency – Highly organized with strong documentation and multitasking abilities.
