Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge in managing both sales and operations
  • At least 5 years' experience in supply chain/Logistics/Freight forwarding setting

Job Responsibilties:

Ensures achievement of VSC target ROI, NIAT, Sales and Expense Budget

Ensures 100% alignment and compliance of VSC to the standard look, policies, systems and procedures

Ensures regular coordination as regards status of shipments thru FMS

Implements End Day Closing of all transactions by all VSCs

Conducts regular audit of VSCs

RECRUITMENT, RETENTION, TERMINATION OF SERVICE PARTNERS:

  • Ensures complete line up of VSC in all areas identified in coordination with the Operations and Sales Departments
  • Develops and maintains a collaborative relationship with Service Partners
  • Immediately and effectively addresses concerns of Service Partners
  • Ensures continuous training and development of VSC and/or Service Partners in terms of operational processes and selling strategies
  • Executes termination of Partners in accordance with the provisions of the VSC policies and Service Agreements

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT:

  • Enhances Existing Products and Services based on the requirements in the market or by the clients
  • Continuously assesses the market trends based on the VSC Business Model and recommends enhancements
  • Ensures complete and thorough orientation of VSC Staff and/or Service Partners on the enhanced products and services prior to implementation

COLLABORATION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS:

  • Works closely with Sales and Marketing Departments on developing, implementing and evaluating marketing campaigns and sales plans to take advantage of market opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluates different areas and identifies priorities for VSC set-up

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT:

  • Ensures education of staffs to further enhance their competencies through training needs analysis and training interventions
  • Continuously trains, develops and motivates the team to enable them to deliver services according to standards

OTHERS:

  • Partners with other departments/units through seamless interface and by directing, guiding and leading the implementation of programs that are aligned with business directions and priorities of the company
  • Participates in and supports all company –sponsored activities
  • Prepares Annual VSC Plans and Programs and Budget
  • Conducts annual VSC Conference to ensure alignment of all plans and strategies with the Service Partners
