About the role
We are seeking a Imporation Assistant to join our team at GJH SERCONS INC. in BGC, Taguig. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for supporting our Logistics and Shipping processes and helping to ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensures clearing of all importation in a timely manner and coordinated property with the broker.
- Monitors and updates all shipment information such as departures, berthing arrivals, storage, demurrage and other shipment related info.
- Oversees the receipt and processing of all import documentation, including customs clearance, shipping and delivery processes.
- Works closely with brokers, freight forwarders and other
- stakeholders to ensure timely and efficiently importation of goods.
What we're looking for:
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Customs Administration, or any related field
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in importation or logistics is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn import regulations and documentation processes
