About the role

As a Logistics Officer at Sika Philippines Inc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This full-time position is based in Taguig City, Metro Manila and will involve overseeing all logistics-related activities to support the company's manufacturing and transport operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials, finished goods, and other supplies
  2. Monitoring inventory levels and implementing strategies to optimise stock management
  3. Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
  4. Analysing logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  5. Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of warehousing facilities and equipment
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing logistics and distribution
  7. Providing regular reports on logistics performance metrics to management
  8. Supervising and training logistics team members to enhance their skills and productivity

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or distribution industry
  2. Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and transportation best practices
  3. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  4. Proficient in the use of logistics management software and data analysis tools
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
