General Accounting

  1. Ensure that General Accounting functions are performed in accordance with the agreed service level standards.

  2. Supervise the day-to-day General Accounting transactions to ensure efficiency and accuracy

  3. Monitor movement of Payable accounts to ensure proper recording of expenses

  4. Regular filing and payment of all applicable tax types.

  5. Prepare tax returns in accordance with taxation laws.

  6. Maintain and organizes tax files, records and statements of clients

  7. Assemble tax data required for government mandatory reporting.

  8. Assist in checking payroll disbursements.

Bookkeeping

  1. Ensure that all entries are complete in the General Ledger and accurately booked in the system. (i.e SAP)

  2. Analyze General Ledger account balances and accounts payable to ensure proper recording of expenses.

  3. Check the correctness of Sales book on a monthly basis.

  4. Checks the accuracy of transactions generated by the system.

  5. Provide accurate general ledger accounting reports monthly and as needed.

Assist in checking journal entries to record transactions related to all the reconciliation activities/ adjustments.

Compliance to BIR Regulatory Requirements

  1. Handle the timely and accurate remittance of the following indirect Taxes every month (Expanded Withholding taxes).

  2. Proper safekeeping of BIR registered forms.

  3. Ensure that all books of account (Purchase Book) are properly filled-up based on government reportorial requirements.

Staff Development

  1. Take part in the conduct of regular Performance Appraisal.

  2. Keep abreast on external and internal opportunities for skills development and training

Others

  1. Perform other duties as necessary in meeting the objectives/ mission of the department and/or as assigned by superior.

  2. Adhere to the company established Food Safety procedures and policies..
