Financial Statement Preparation

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Reporting to Japan Headquarters and Executives

  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports to the Japanese head office.
  • Coordinate with Japan-side finance teams to align reporting formats, schedules, and requirements.
  • Provide executive-level reporting, including budget vs. actual analysis, forecasts, and variance explanations.

Payroll and Employee Compensation

  • Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR and external payroll providers.
  • Ensure accurate computation of salaries, benefits, deductions, and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.).
  • Manage payroll-related accounting entries, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.

General Accounting Operations

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Team Support and Coordination

  • Assist the Accounting Manager in supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
  • Provide training and guidance on accounting procedures, systems, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments (HR, Procurement, Operations) to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

System and Process Improvement

  • Participate in ERP system enhancements, upgrades, or implementations.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Job Qualifications:

Mandatory

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a manufacturing company.

Preferred

  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license holder.
  • Experience in audit support and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Knowledge and experience in filing local tax returns and ensuring compliance

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
