About Us We are a premier electrical contracting business serving Polk County, Florida. We provide top-tier residential and commercial electrical work, and we are ready to scale. Our goal is to dominate the local market: we want to be the #1 ranking in organic search results and secure a Top 3 spot in the Google Map Pack for our service areas.

The Role We are looking for a skilled Local SEO Specialist to manage our digital presence. You will work directly with the business owner to drive local traffic and leads. While your primary focus is SEO, we are looking for a versatile marketer who can also assist with landing pages and paid ads.

  • Location: Remote (Philippines based)
  • Hours: 20 hours per week (Part-Time)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM US Eastern Time (Strict requirement for collaboration)
  • Software: We use Semrush, but experience with similar tools (Ahrefs, Moz, BrightLocal) is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Local SEO & Map Pack: Manage and optimize our Google Business Profile (GMB) to get us into the "Top 3" for local searches in Polk County.
  • On-Page & Off-Page SEO: Optimize website content, title tags, and meta descriptions. Execute backlink strategies and build local citations.
  • Landing Pages: Design and build high-converting landing pages for specific electrical services (e.g., Panel Upgrades, Generator Install).
  • Content Strategy: Create or optimize content to target high-intent local keywords.
  • Reporting: Monitor rankings and traffic improvements and report weekly to the owner.

"Nice to Have" Skills (Big Plus)

  • Google Ads (PPC): Experience setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns.
  • PPC Landing Pages: Ability to build dedicated landing pages specifically designed for paid ad traffic.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in SEO (Experience with home services/contractors is preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO tools. Knowledge of WordPress (or similar CMS) for building pages.
  • Language: Strong written English is required for editing website copy and ads.
  • Reliability: High-speed internet connection and ability to work the required US morning shift.
