Job Summary

Responsible for managing the company's ruminant feed portfolio from product development to market launch and ongoing support. The role involves planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing and technical strategies to grow the ruminant feed segment while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Portfolio Management

  • Oversee and manage existing ruminant feed products.
  • Identify market gaps and opportunities for new products.
  • Coordinate with R&D and production for product improvement and new product development.

2. Marketing & Commercial Strategy

  • Develop and implement marketing plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to guide strategy.
  • Position products effectively to achieve sales targets and increase market share.

3. Technical Support & Training

  • Provide technical assistance to sales teams, distributors, and end-users.
  • Conduct training sessions, seminars, and field demonstrations on ruminant nutrition and feed usage.
  • Address product performance issues and recommend solutions.

4. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work with procurement, production, and finance teams to ensure product availability and cost management.
  • Liaise with regulatory affairs for product registration and compliance.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance, profitability, and product quality.
  • Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or related field (Master's degree an advantage).
  • At least 3–5 years' experience in ruminant nutrition, feed formulation, product management, or marketing in the feed/animal health industry.
  • Solid understanding of ruminant nutrition, farm management practices, and feed manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical, marketing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel regularly to field locations.
