What You'll Do in This Role

Be part of our client's team as a Multifamily Business Development Analyst, where you will analyze multifamily properties, support investment decisions, and prepare insightful reports that help shape business strategies. You will play a vital role in promoting third-party property management services by delivering data-driven insights and solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Team

Required Competencies and Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, logical and statistical functions, charts, graphs, pivot tables).
• Strong PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Persistence in achieving goals, overcoming obstacles, and maintaining excellence.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with clear and error-free delivery.
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse and driven professional environment.

Education and Experience

• 3-5 years of real estate analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of apartment operations and data analysis.
• Real estate business development experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

• Proficiency in Outlook (Email, Calendar, Contacts).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with data modeling, visualization software, and Adobe InDesign preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to use hands to handle or feel, and to talk or hear.
• Ability to sit frequently; occasionally stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
• Visual acuity required for close, distance, and color vision.

Key Responsibilities That Drive Success

• Compose rent analyses, competitive analyses, apartment budgets and proformas, presentation materials, and correspondence.
• Research rental markets and understand supply, demand, and trends influencing multifamily investment and operations.
• Analyze apartment financial and operations statements to identify inefficiencies.
• Develop presentations and ad-hoc reports as required.
• Prepare and present reports to executives and committees.
• Review requests for proposals and draft client follow-up questions.
• Maintain knowledge of trends and statistics in current and target submarkets.
• Organize and maintain filing systems, correspondence, and records (paper and electronic).
• Handle data entry duties as needed.
