Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying solutions, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, project management, and the software development life cycle (SDLC). The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in driving efficiency and effectiveness within our organization.

Duties

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze data using various tools and techniques to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to present findings.
  • Participate in Agile project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of ETL processes to facilitate data integration.
  • Conduct thorough testing of systems and applications throughout the SDLC.
  • Create detailed documentation including business process flows using Visio.
  • Support database design initiatives utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database technologies.
  • Utilize programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements based on analysis.

Skills

  • Proficient in data analysis skills with experience in SQL for querying databases.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Talend.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Understanding of SDLC processes and best practices in software development.
  • Ability to design databases and create efficient data models.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving capabilities.
