RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staff management:
Hire, train, and schedule bartenders and other bar staff. Resolve staff conflicts and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Inventory and stock:
Track inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or waste. This includes monitoring for errors or theft.
- Financial management:
Develop and manage budgets, monitor costs, track sales, and ensure the bar's profitability.
- Operations and compliance:
Ensure the bar is clean, well-organized, and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Customer experience:
Oversee the bar's operations to ensure a high-quality and consistently positive customer experience.
- Menu and events:
Create and update drink and food menus, and plan and organize special events or promotions.
- Leadership:
Motivate staff, resolve customer and staff issues, and foster a positive work environment.
