Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized ROW Specialist to manage the acquisition of right-of-way (ROW) and ensure the timely and compliant issuance of permits for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ROW processes, permitting regulations, and property management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ROW Acquisition: Identify, acquire, and manage right-of-way for projects, including negotiating with property owners, preparing legal documents, and securing necessary approvals.
  • Permitting: Obtain and manage permits required for construction and development projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation for ROW acquisitions and permit applications.
  • Compliance: Ensure all ROW and permitting activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including environmental and safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with property owners, local government officials, and other stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and negotiate terms.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to integrate ROW and permitting requirements into project plans and timelines.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on ROW and permitting activities, including status updates, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to ROW and permitting, including disputes or delays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in ROW acquisition, permitting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of ROW processes, permitting regulations, and property management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in real estate or property management (e.g., SR/WA, CPM).
  • Knowledge of local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and construction codes.
