Job Description:

· Motor Pool Supervisor performs various duties to coordinate the use of all motor pool assets. Responds to all vehicle request and concerns.

· Maintains maintenance, licensing/title, location assignment, and usage records for all motor pool vehicles.

· Coordinates the use and availability of all motor pool assets to ensure all vehicles are ready for use.

· Directs and leads the work of the staff to accomplish equipment maintenance and motor pool tasks related to vehicle readiness and data collection/recording for inventory/property.

· Maintains all administrative files for the motorpool inventory records. Reports to the Facilities Inventory Control Analyst.

· Directly Supervise Mechanics and staffs in repairs, rescue and other motorpool assignments.

· Develop and Implement general and preventive maintenance procedures for vehicles and heavy equipment.

· Provides technical expertise in maintenance and repairs of vehicles and heavy equipment.

· Prepares vehicles for disposal in accordance with the vehicle replacement program requirements.

· Continually implements process improvements, such as modernizing the fuel delivery system and incorporating mobile devices/applications into the driver's workflow.

· Serves as first point of contact for vehicular accidents that involve fleet vehicles, reviewing accident reports and obtaining police reports.

· Initiates the procurement of all necessary services such as maintenance and repair services, etc.

· Tracks all trip tickets, fuel usage, maintenance tickets.

· Finding ways to cut costs and maximize profits.

· Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain trip scheduling.

· Monitoring driver's/operators behavior and ensuring a high level of customer service.

· Performs related motorpool work as assigned.
