About the role

Taft Property Venture Development Corp. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Officer to join our dynamic team in Cebu City, Cebu. As a Leasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing our residential property portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and driving optimal leasing outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively market and lease available residential properties to qualified tenants
  • Conduct property viewings and liaise with prospective tenants to understand their needs and match them with suitable properties
  • Negotiate and prepare tenancy agreements, ensuring all legal and compliance requirements are met
  • Manage the end-to-end leasing process, including tenant screening, move-in and move-out procedures
  • Regularly inspect properties to ensure they are well-maintained and address any tenant concerns in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the property management team to optimize occupancy rates and rental yields
  • Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports on leasing activities and portfolio performance

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in residential property leasing or a related field
  • Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Good understanding of local property laws, regulations and market trends
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently
