Job Summary

The Creative Lead – Art is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and leading visual executions for Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing campaigns, including activations, events, and brand installations. This role requires both creative vision and hands-on technical expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and KV (Key Visual) development. The Creative Lead will collaborate closely with the Accounts, Strategy, and Production teams to ensure all outputs are on-brand, innovative, and aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Conceptualization

  • Lead the development of art direction and visual identity for BTL campaigns.
  • Conceptualize Key Visuals (KVs) that translate brand strategy into compelling creative executions.
  • Provide innovative design solutions for activations, exhibits, events, and on-ground experiences.

Design & Technical Execution

  • Create and supervise design outputs, including layouts, mock-ups, stage/set designs, booth designs, event collaterals, and brand installations.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and SketchUp to produce both 2D and 3D visualizations.
  • Ensure all artworks are technically sound and ready for fabrication and production.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of artists, designers, and visualizers.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and guidance to ensure consistent creative quality.
  • Collaborate with Accounts and Strategy teams to align concepts with client objectives.
  • Work closely with Production/Fabrication to ensure designs are practical, feasible, and aligned with materials/structures.

Quality & Brand Alignment

  • Safeguard brand guidelines while exploring creative opportunities.
  • Oversee final artworks, ensuring high standards of quality, detail, and accuracy.
  • Propose fresh, trend-forward creative ideas for BTL executions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in art direction, design, or creative leadership in a BTL/advertising/marketing agency.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and SketchUp (3D visualization).
  • Strong background in developing Key Visuals (KVs) and translating them into BTL campaigns.
  • Experience in handling event visuals, booth design, and fabrication-ready layouts.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative works in BTL, activations, and events.
