Job Summary:

The Senior Creative Writer is responsible for leading the development of compelling concepts, copy, and storytelling for BTL campaigns, activations, events, and brand experiences. This role requires a balance of creativity, strategic thinking, and presentation skills to deliver impactful ideas for pitches and client campaigns. The Senior Creative Writer collaborates closely with art directors, designers, strategists, and account managers to bring brand stories to life across multiple touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creative Ideation & Concept Development

  • Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh, innovative ideas for BTL campaigns (events, activations, trade marketing, digital extensions, and experiential campaigns).
  • Develop campaign concepts that are strategic, relevant, and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Craft engaging storylines, themes, and messaging frameworks for presentations and campaign execution.

2. Copywriting & Content Creation

  • Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for campaign collaterals, event scripts, taglines, AVPs, social media tie-ins, and other marketing materials.
  • Adapt tone and messaging based on brand guidelines and target audience.
  • Ensure all copy aligns with creative direction and client objectives.

3. Pitch & Presentation Development

  • Partner with the creative and accounts team to prepare pitch decks and client presentations.
  • Translate concepts into compelling narratives that can be presented persuasively.
  • Present ideas confidently during client pitches and internal reviews.

4. Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Art Directors, Designers, and Producers to ensure holistic campaign execution.
  • Mentor junior writers and contribute to their creative growth.
  • Act as a thought partner to the Creative Director in shaping creative strategies.

5. Research & Insights

  • Stay updated on industry trends, cultural insights, and competitor activities to inspire fresh ideas.
  • Conduct background research to strengthen concepts and support storytelling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Copywriter / Creative Writer, preferably in BTL, advertising, or events agency.
  • Proven track record in campaign ideation, pitch presentations, and BTL activations.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills in English and Filipino.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to pitch ideas confidently.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
