We are seeking a strategic and analytical Amazon Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities and drive profit optimization within our Amazon operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in forecasting inventory needs, placing and tracking purchase orders, and analyzing profitability reports to support data-driven purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast inventory requirements and maintain healthy stock levels to support sales.
  • Place, monitor, and track purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Analyze profitability reports and make data-driven purchasing decisions to optimize margins.
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to align purchasing with business goals.
  • Monitor product performance and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in internal systems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally in e-commerce or Amazon operations.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon marketplace dynamics and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and inventory management software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
  • Familiarity with profitability analysis and cost optimization.
  • Background in fast-paced e-commerce environments.
