The Store Manager – Fresh is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the fresh food section, ensuring high-quality products, excellent customer service, and achieving sales and profitability targets. This role combines operational management, team leadership, and merchandising expertise in fresh categories such as bakery, produce, meat, and dairy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the fresh food section, including stock management, display, and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate store staff to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Plan and execute merchandising and promotional activities to maximize sales and margin.
  • Monitor inventory levels, reduce waste, and maintain optimal stock rotation.
  • Analyze sales and performance data to drive improvements and achieve targets.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing retail or fresh food operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of fresh food handling, storage, and merchandising.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
