The Industrial Engineering Intern will support the operations and process improvement initiatives by assisting in mapping workflows, analyzing data, and proposing efficiency enhancements. This role is ideal for detail-oriented and proactive individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in process optimization, information gathering, and continuous improvement within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and elicit process-related information from various departments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate process map
  • Map workflows and document processes based on collected data
  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Propose improvements and assist in implementing process optimization initiatives
  • Support data collection and reporting for performance metrics
  • Participate in projects focused on productivity and cost reduction
  • Perform administrative tasks related to process documentation and improvement

Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related field
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving minds
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of process mapping tools is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
