Events Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain records of bookings, contracts, billings, reservations and venue reservation details;
  • Handle venue reservation inquiries and facilitate coordination with clients/ partners to ensure event requirements are met;
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the venue including setup and events endorsement of schedule to other departments;
  • Provides technical and logistical support for events;
  • Coordinates with partners, authors, other departments, suppliers, etc. during events;
  • Tracks post-event statistics in internal tracking system;
  • Supports the marketing team, helps in planning campaigns, projects, and events

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College level or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Literature;
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience;
  • Highly organized- should be able to do tasks in a systematic manner;
  • Very proactive. Must anticipate needs of the team and key people during events;
  • Must be a problem solver and highly resourceful;
  • Willing to learn new skills and must pick them up quickly; both through self-teaching and instructions from supervisors
  • Knowledgeable in using Streamyard and Video editing;
  • Basic marketing knowledge; can research and observe trends
