We're Your Salon Support (YSS) — a media-tech agency powering loyalty, marketing, and content for the hair and beauty industry. Our work turns heads, builds cult followings, and helps salons grow — but we need someone who can keep the content engine firing every single day.We're looking for a Social Media Manager who lives on Social, breathes TikTok culture, and can turn a trending moment into a salon culture forward reel.This role is all about data driven, high-quality execution.Strategy? Sorted.Branding? Done.You? You're here to bring it to life, fast, sharp, and on trend, based on data.What You'll DoYour weekly output (non-negotiable):• 6 hero posts (reels/carousels/statics) using brand templates, or create your own based on graphic designer feedback• 14 trial reels (variations, hooks, trend tests)• Story plans for Founder to shoot• 2 trend-based reels per week• 2–3 Podcast repurposed clips• Community engagement: respond to comments, farm replies, engage with salon owners• Report analytics weekly• Content calendar plan weekly based on strategy• You will own working with the team to deliver the content, and brief into the founder new content you need (such as talk to camera etc.)Day-to-day tasks:• Create reels, memes, carousels, and short-form videos using Canva, CapCut, and our template library• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats (VO remixes, alt hooks, text-only versions)• Monitor daily trends and flag anything we should jump on• Keep our account active across Stories — polls, reactions, low-effort desk clips• Work closely with our designer to brief in new templates• Build a library of hooks• Move fast. If a trend is hot, we participate today — not tomorrow.Formats You Must Be Able to ExecuteYou can confidently produce:• Low-effort/high-value reels• Talk-to-camera edits (subtitles, pacing, punchlines)• CapCut edits• Meme formats• Trend adaptations• POV/Reaction reels• Tweet-style statics• Educational carousels (Julia Broome style)• Reddit-style storytelling carousels• Founder-led breakdowns• Street interview editsIf it moves, scrolls, or slaps — you can make it.This Role Is NOT• Brand identity or conceptual creative work• A slow, "perfect the edit for 5 hours" role• Influencer management or PR• for someone who is not a critical thinker or self motivatedThis is an execution-first content engine role.Who You Are• 2–5 years in content creation or social media• Fluent in Instagram, TikTok, Canva, CapCut• Strong short-form editing skills (pacing, hooks, captions, timing)• Understands what stops the scroll and hooks• Moves fast — speed > perfection• Keeps up with beauty, fashion, salon culture, and pop culture• organised, self-managed, and reliable• Comfortable working remotely and hitting weekly output targets• Doesn't need micromanaging — you take a brief, look at the data, and runBonus Points• You've worked with beauty/hair/fashion brands• You're familiar with salon industry
