The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk & Treasury Analyst to join our finance team. This role is critical to managing our exposure to foreign currency fluctuations across 20 currencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring currency obligations, developing risk mitigation strategies, ensuring cost-effective and compliant currency operations, and measuring the impact of FX movements on our business

Key Responsibilities:

1. FX Risk Monitoring: Track and manage the company's foreign currency exposure across all markets and suppliers.

2. Obligation Forecasting: Maintain accurate forecasts of incoming and outgoing foreign currency flows to support cash flow planning and risk management.

3. Hedging Strategy: Work with the CFO and VP Finance on appropriate hedging strategies (e.g., forward contracts, natural hedging) to minimize FX risk in line with the company's risk tolerance.

4. Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile FX transactions and provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.

5. Bank & Partner Management: Maintain relationships with financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and service levels.

6. Compliance: Ensure all FX activities comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

7. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to FX risk management processes, systems, and tools.

8. Any job-related role that may be assigned by the manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments, and hedging techniques.

• At least 3 years of experience working with multi-currency environments—ideally in the travel or tourism industry.

• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury management systems is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach.

• Professional certification is an advantage.

• Experience working with global suppliers and payments platforms.

• Familiarity with accounting treatment of FX gains/losses and hedging
