  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and project budgets.
  • Provide cost planning and forecasting to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor and control project cash flow and expenditure.
  • Track project costs against budgets and highlight variances.
  • Evaluate and certify subcontractor claims, progress billings, and variation orders.
  • Conduct cost value reconciliations and prepare final accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and subcontracts, ensuring fair terms and cost efficiency.

· Identify financial risks, potential claims, and recommend mitigation measures.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB, AIQS) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in cost estimating software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Project).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with strong numerical and financial management abilities.
