About the Role

Our company is hiring an experienced Manager – Australian Bookkeeping Services to lead a team supporting a single Australian accounting firm. You'll oversee workflow, client liaison, and quality control for bookkeeping, BAS, and payroll functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5–10 bookkeepers.
  • Oversee daily deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of BAS, GST, and payroll compliance.
  • Liaise directly with Australian accountants and clients.
  • Implement process improvements and manage team performance.
  • Support resource planning, onboarding, and staff training.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years' Australian bookkeeping/accounting experience across multiple accounts and industries
  • Strong knowledge of BAS, GST, superannuation, and payroll tax.
  • Experience with Xero and ideally QuickBooks Online and MYOB.
  • Excellent English communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • Prior experience managing offshore or Australian accounting teams is essential.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 AM-4 PM / 6 AM-3 PM
  • Location: a cosmopolitan office located at  Makati City

  • Hybrid work set up (ONE DAY PER WEEK) - All equipment provided
