Payroll Associate / Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Process semimonthly payroll, including computation of salaries, overtime, allowances, commissions, bonuses, and deductions and final pay computation.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, including accurate computation of contributions to SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR (withholding tax).
- Coordinate with HR department for attendance data, benefits, and compensation adjustments.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of payroll-related journal entries and reconciliation with accounting records.
- Maintain and update employee payroll files and records with confidentiality.
- Answer employee payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Fresh graduates with payroll experience or minimum 1 year of payroll experience, preferably in a Philippine-based company.
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as SAP.
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available to start immediately.
