Overview:

PRD Prime Concept and Design Inc., a leading manufacturing and export company based in 1888 Gosotto Compound, Mabolo, Cebu City, is seeking a skilled equipment Technician to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality production.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electronic issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure workplace safety.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records for all equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery and production lines.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing technical insights and solutions.
  • Manage and organize tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
  • Provide emergency response support for critical equipment failures.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent (Technical certification or associate degree in Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in machinery or facility maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic board repair, machine diagnostics, and repair.
  • Ability to recognize potential hazards and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Physically fit, able to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
