The Engineering Supervisor is in-charge in the day-to-day management of motor pool department. Directs and leads the work of motor pool personnel to accomplish equipment maintenance and motor pool tasks. Provides technical expertise in relation to the heavy equipment & machineries used in the company. Maintains all administrative files for the motor pool inventory records like data collection, recording for inventory or property.

  1. Provides the needed technical assistance in diagnosing non- or malfunctioning parts of all types of equipment used by the company, particularly heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach stackers, and trucks.

  2. Actively participates in the assessment, evaluation, and recommendation on the need to purchase and replace of equipment parts.

  3. Assists in the review, modification, and approval of equipment spare parts to be purchased.

  4. Assists in the supervision of the engineering personnel, specifically the mechanics, electricians, technicians, and the general maintenance team involved in the restoration, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment and the construction and repair of company facilities.

  5. Oversees and ensures the achievement of quality and technical accuracy in all repair and maintenance work.

  6. Leads in the planning, acquisition and inventory of all cargo handling gears and the close supervision of personnel involved in gears' issuance, retrieval, safekeeping, storage, and after-use care.

  7. Closely works with Supervising Engineer in the formulation of administrative policies, procedures and standards which can improve the engineering division's management and operations.

  8. Oversees the research and development of equipment of equipment maintenance and procedures.

  9. Performs other functions as may be assigned by superiors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
