Qualifications:

  • Prior work in flavor formulation, seasoning development, or related food product innovation.
  • Access to analytical equipment like GC-MS, HPLC, and sensory analysis panels for testing and validation.
  • Understanding of food safety standards, permissible ingredients, and labeling regulations.
  • Ability to develop unique flavor profiles aligned with market trends.
  • Partnerships with flavor houses, ingredient suppliers, and academic institutions for cutting-edge research.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing innovative seasoning blends based on market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Conducting sensory analysis and laboratory tests to assess flavor, stability, and quality.
  • Refining formulations to enhance flavor, shelf life, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Investigating new ingredients, flavor compounds, and processing techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate records of formulations, test results, and process modifications.
  • Making sure products meet safety standards, regulations, and labeling requirements.
  • Working with production, marketing, and procurement teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with market needs.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Assisting in transitioning formulations from lab scale to production scale.
  • Monitoring consistency and quality of seasoning products during development and production.
