Finance Specialist / Officer (Hybrid Setup)

Work Address: Makati City

Work Setup: Hybrid (3–4 Days Onsite, 1–2 Days Offsite)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Finance Specialist or Officer to support day-to-day financial operations, including payables, receivables, compliance, vendor coordination, and internal reporting. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial processes, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in operational finance within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and monitor incoming/outgoing payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients, monitor collections, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Financial Reporting: Support monthly financial report preparation in collaboration with our external finance vendor.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with third-party accounting/finance providers for timely submissions and accurate reporting.
  • Government Compliance: Handle statutory filings and annual updates for BIR, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and related agencies.
  • Expense Management: Track and reconcile operational expenses, reimbursements, and executive payables.
  • Documentation: Maintain a well-organized digital and physical filing system for financial documents.
  • Internal Controls: Uphold financial policies and ensure process compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Specialist Level: At least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Officer Level (Preferred): At least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency with tools like QuickBooks, MS Excel, and is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and government-mandated compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in SMEs or consulting/service firms preferred.
