
Finance Specialist – Tax

We are a reputable supplier of toner and ink products, committed to providing top-quality printing solutions to businesses and individuals. As we grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to handle tax compliance and general accounting duties.
Job Description:
The Finance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial and tax records comply with Philippine laws, particularly BIR regulations. This role includes managing daily accounting tasks, preparing tax reports, processing government submissions, and supporting overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file BIR tax returns (e.g., VAT, 1601E, 2550M/Q, 2316, etc.).

Ensure compliance with BIR rules and maintain updated tax documentation.

Monitor accounts payable and receivable.

Handle monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.

Maintain organized records of official receipts, invoices, and vouchers.

Assist in year-end audits and coordination with external accountants.

Support payroll processing and government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).

Participate in process improvement for better financial controls.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or finance, preferably with BIR exposure.

Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR processes.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Can work independently and handle confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an SME or office supplies/distribution company is a plus.

Familiarity with eFPS, eBIRForms, and BIR relief system.
