Senior Estimator – Commercial Painting & Fitout
National Painting Group & Lykan Construction | Sydney | Full-Time

We're looking for a high-level estimator. Someone with solid experience in the Australian commercial painting and construction market who can step in and get to work immediately. No training. No hand-holding. Just results.

You'll be working across two growing companies:
National Painting Group, focused on commercial and government painting
Lykan Construction, delivering commercial fitout and project-based construction work

We run lean and we move fast. We've built a tight team that backs each other and works well together. No egos. Just good people who take pride in delivering quality work. We're looking for someone who can slot in easily, get the job done, and add value from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Full-scope estimating for painting and fitout projects ranging from $50K to $2M

• Reviewing drawings, completing accurate take-offs, preparing BOQs, scopes, and detailed quotes

• Working closely with PMs, contract administrators, and directors to ensure smooth handovers

• Confidently using our systems including Xero, PayApps, and internal tools

• Supporting both NPG and Lykan depending on project demand

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years estimating experience in the Australian market, preferably in painting and/or fitout

• Strong technical and software skills, with a proven track record of independently delivering high-quality estimates

• Fully capable of reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications

• Organised, sharp with numbers, detail-focused, and reliable with deadlines

• A positive, solution-driven attitude and a team player mindset
