Position Title: Automotive Officer

Department: Operations

Reports To: Head of Operations

Job Summary

The Automotive Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient management, maintenance, and utilization of company vehicles. This role ensures the proper scheduling of drivers and dispatchers, timely maintenance and repair of units, accurate documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Automotive Officer also manages vehicle allocations for office requests, fuel and parts procurement, and ensures that company vehicles are roadworthy, cost-efficient, and properly documented.

Duties and Responsibilities

Driver and Dispatcher Management

  • Schedule and assign daily and weekly tasks of drivers.
  • Oversee dispatchers to ensure smooth coordination of vehicle deployment.
  • Monitor driver discipline, punctuality, and compliance with company policies.

Vehicle Maintenance and Monitoring

  • Regularly check and monitor vehicles to ensure their roadworthiness.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and oversee repair works.
  • Keep track of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance records.

Fuel and Parts Management

  • Handle the preparation and approval of Purchase Orders (PO) for gasoline and diesel.
  • Request payment for spare parts, repairs, and damages.
  • Ensure timely procurement of parts while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Vehicle Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain and secure all official documents of vehicles (OR/CR, insurance, registration).
  • Ensure all units comply with LTO and government regulations.
  • Monitor expiration dates of registrations and renew documents on time.

Vehicle Allocation and Employee Requests

  • Manage requests for vehicle use by office employees.
  • Ensure vehicles are deployed based on priority and company needs.
  • Keep proper documentation and monitoring for accountability of deployed vehicles.

Reporting and Administration

  • Submit regular reports on fuel consumption, vehicle condition, and driver performance.
  • Recommend cost-saving measures and improvements in automotive operations.
  • Ensure accountability and transparency in handling automotive-related transactions Requesting of payment for department expense

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php23,000.00 per month
