Position: Laboratory Manager (Permanent)

Location: Ivory Coast (West Africa)

About the Role

The Laboratory Manager will oversee the overall operations of the testing facility, ensuring services are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This leadership role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, maintaining ISO 17025 accreditation, engaging with clients, and driving operational excellence across multiple testing divisions.

Top 5 Must-Haves

  • Proven track record in laboratory management (minimum 7–10 years), ideally within an ISO-accredited environment.
  • Strong knowledge of physicochemical, microbiological, and/or environmental testing services.
  • Deep understanding of ISO 17025 compliance, audits, and quality assurance systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop laboratory teams to achieve both technical and operational excellence.
  • Strong command of English for cross-border communication, reporting, and client engagement.

Top 3 Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in an independent contract/third-party laboratory environment serving multiple industries.
  • Proven success working in a multinational environment, engaging with diverse teams and international clients.
  • Ability to converse in French is an advantage.
