Sr. Principal External Manufacturing EngineerMuntinlupa, PhilippinesJob DescriptionThis position will be based in the Philippines and will be responsible for improving package quality, process, operation, and system at external subcontractors for onsemi.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Work closely with internal teams and external subcontractors to execute improvement programs

Lead task force teams for process and quality improvements

Communicate with Business Units and customers for program and project updates

Achieve quality goals and reduce EFARImplement root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for EFAR and SQINEnhance subcontractor process robustness and mitigate risks

Deploy Best Known Methodologies (BKM) and ensure their application

Manage subcontractor change processes and conduct audits

Oversee daily subcontractor operations

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, continuous improvement activities focusing on yield and scrap reduction, operation improvements through quality, delivery, and cost reduction projects, production support activities such as material verification and disposition, and execution of qualification processes for changes involving products, test processes, and equipment. Success in this role requires a self-driven individual with strong ownership of subcontractor management, comprehensive process knowledge, experience in PKG assembly operations, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. QualificationsRequirements:Degree in engineering with experience in the semiconductor industry

Background as Assembly, Process, or Product Engineer in high-volume manufacturing

Minimum 15 years of experience in semiconductor assembly

Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems

Strong leadership skills

Excellent command of the English language for communication purposes

Willingness and ability to travel overseas as required
