Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians in a manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure effective teamwork and high performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams in troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on complex engineering problems.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities with overall plant operations.
  • Identify training needs for engineering staff and facilitate professional development to enhance skills and keep the team abreast of industry advancements.
  • Enforce company policies, work instructions, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of engineering processes, designs, and project/maintenance outcomes.
Required Skills / Competencies:
  • Ability to locate and identify malfunctions or defections in equipment or apparatus and to make repairs.
  • Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber.
  • Can climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.

Education:

Experience:
