Position Overview
The Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales, building strong customer relationships, and achieving assigned targets. The role requires identifying potential customers, presenting and promoting products/services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and team sales targets set by management.
- Identify, approach, and develop new customers while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct product presentations and explain features/benefits to customers.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and close sales deals effectively.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide feedback to management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer details, and follow-ups.
- Ensure timely collection of payments as per company policy.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, events, and trade shows as needed.
- Provide after-sales support and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of proven experience in sales (retail, FMCG, consumer goods, banking, or relevant sector).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required.
