Position Title: Virtual Assistant/BookkeeperWork Set-up: Work From Home
Salary: Php 40,000 – 45,000
Schedule: 6:00am - 3:00pm
We are looking for a Virtual Assistant/Bookkeeper with a strong background in administration and Australian bookkeeping support to join our client, a respected Australian accounting firm. This role will involve a combination of admin, client service, and light bookkeeping tasks.
You'll work closely with accountants and clients to ensure smooth communication, accurate updates, and consistent support for day-to-day operations. This position is perfect for someone who is confident on calls, has strong written and spoken English skills, and has prior experience in Australian public practice.
Responsibilities as a Virtual Assistant/Bookkeeper:
• Answer inbound calls from Australian clients with a professional and friendly tone
• Manage scheduling, emails, calendars, and client records
• Handle bookkeeping support tasks including AR, AP, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
• Send newsletters and bulk emails using Mailchimp or similar platforms
• Liaise with accountants and clients to provide accurate, timely updates
• Update databases and support social media efforts as needed
• Assist with ad-hoc admin and marketing support tasks
Qualifications as a Virtual Assistant/Bookkeeper:
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Admin, VA, or PA
• Non-negotiable: At least 1 year experience in an Australian accounting/public practice firm
• Australian bookkeeping experience (support-level) with Xero — AR, AP, invoicing, reconciliations
• Practical experience using Mailchimp or similar for email marketing and bulk communications
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Confident and professional phone manner
• Highly organized and proactive, with strong attention to detail
• Able to work full-time during PH day shift (aligned with AU hours)
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
• Experience supporting professional services or client-facing teams
