Urgent: Virtual Bookkeeper (Part-Time → Full-Time) Origin Business Consultants is a Perth-based business consulting and accounting firm specialising in advisory, tax, bookkeeping, and CFO services. Role: Virtual BookkeeperEmployment Type: Part-Time (initially) with transition to Full-TimeCompensation: 35,000 to 45,000 PHPStart Date: ImmediateReports to: Senior Accountant at the firm About the Client / Company The company provides business consulting, accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, corporate secretarial, and outsourced CFO services to Australian businesses. They also offer Xero/MYOB setup, payroll, accounts payable/receivable management, and advisory services. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor / supplier statements Reconcile bank and credit card statements Maintain general ledger integrity Process invoices, payments, and receipts Assist with BAS (Business Activity Statement) preparation or support, GST reconciliation Prepare regular financial summaries and reports for the Senior Accountant Liaise with internal stakeholders for query resolution and data provision Support payroll tasks or superannuation reconciliation (if needed) Ensure compliance with Australian accounting practices, tax rules, and regulatory requirements Use cloud accounting tools (Xero, MYOB) efficiently and maintain clean data Required Skills & Experience Strong bookkeeping experience using Xero andMYOB Demonstrated understanding of Australian accounting standards, taxation, BAS, GST, payroll compliance Previous work experience with Australian clients is a must High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to financial detail Good communication skills, must be able to clarify and ask questions proactively Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines Preferred / Advantageous Skills Prior experience in business advisory or accounting firms Experience preparing BAS or aiding tax returns Familiarity with cloud integrations, add-on apps, and bookkeeping workflow automation Ability to identify process improvements and flag inconsistencies proactively Personal Attributes Trustworthy, honest, and discreet when handling financial data Proactive, self-motivated, and reliable Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise Good problem-solving skills and willingness to ask for clarification #J-18808-Ljbffr
