The opportunity

LMTP Corporation is seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Technology Manager to join our team in Calamba City, Laguna. As the Plastic Injection Technology Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the operations and continuous improvement of our plastic injection moulding processes. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end plastic injection moulding production process, including equipment setup, process optimisation, quality control, and troubleshooting
  • Develop and implement innovative manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, research and development, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and materials
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Develop and oversee training programmes for production staff to upskill their technical expertise
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to support the company's long-term growth and competitiveness

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in plastic injection moulding technology, with a strong track record of driving process improvements and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated expertise in plastic material science, mould design, and production techniques
  • Proficiency in using data analytics and process control tools to optimise production and quality
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of talented professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field
